Why iPool Is the Best Home Exercise Pool Option

I’m not good at writing stuff like this, but I wanted to say something about the iPool I got. Maybe it helps someone. I didn’t plan to buy any pool, I just wanted to move more and not hurt my knees again. I can’t run anymore. Regular workouts make me sore fast.

Someone online said water is better for joints. I never heard of that before. So I looked it up. I didn’t really know what’s the best home exercise pool or anything. I just wanted something simple, not too expensive, that works.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect much. I’ve bought gear before that just ended up collecting dust. Part of me thought this might be the same. But after the first week, I realized I was actually looking forward to getting in the water. It didn’t feel like a chore. That surprised me.

There are big water treadmills and spas but too expensive for me. Then I saw iPool. It looked kind of plain, but also not crazy expensive. Not like those $5000 setups. I don’t know if it’s the best home pool for exercise or not, but I could afford it and people said it helps.

My sister thought I was joking when I said I bought a pool. Then she saw it set up and said, “Okay wait, that’s actually pretty cool.” Even my neighbor asked where I got it. He said he was thinking about getting something similar for his wife’s rehab.

The pool came in boxes. I was a little scared to open it all. But me and a friend put it together in a few hours. Just follow the paper it comes with. It’s metal bars, plastic liner, some clips. You don’t need a special floor. Just flat space. Mine is in my yard.

If you’re setting it up outdoors, I’d recommend checking the ground first. I had to level mine a bit with a shovel. Also, don’t try building it on a windy day—the liner catches wind like a sail. One more thing: keep the instruction sheet somewhere safe. I almost tossed mine and had to dig it out later when setting up the pump.

The material feels thick. It’s not like blow-up pools. It holds water good. My kids jumped in, nothing happened. They said it’s made with strong stuff. I don’t know names but it feels safe.

The best part is the strap. You wear it and it holds you in place when you swim. So you swim but stay in one spot. Kinda strange the first time, but it grows on you. You can change how tight or loose it is. I use the middle one.

iPool® 3 (Heater Set Option Available)

Water is about chest-high. That’s good enough for walking, arm moves, just moving around. It feels nice. I use it at night sometimes, it’s quiet. No motors blasting. That’s one thing I like about this exercise pool at home—it doesn’t make noise.

It comes with a pump to clean water. I run it a few times a week. The cover keeps leaves out too. Pretty simple. I didn’t have to do much.

Later I added the heater. You need a 220 plug. So yeah, an electrician had to come. That was extra, but warm water feels way better.

The pool is 7 by 10 feet. I kept about 9 by 12 space around it. It’s not small but not huge either. Fits my backyard fine.

I think iPool is best for people who want to move more but can’t do hard stuff. Or people like me who just want to feel better without going to the gym. I don’t know what other folks think is the best home exercise pool, but for me, this one is good enough. It does what I need. That’s why I’m still using it.

Not fancy, but it works.
